You asked for it! We've labored over the formulation that captures the essence of a classic Manhattan cocktail as a non-alcoholic elixir. Using port wine (alcohol-removed), grapes, raisins and our No.1 Bitter Formula we replicate the sweet vermouth flavor, enhanced with a bit of cherry. Aged in Willett bourbon barrels, it gains charred oak and vanilla notes, while our trademark No.1 Bitter Formula (the base of our No.1 Old Fashioned) adds complex bitterness for balance.
Recipe
Manhattan: Stir 1 Part Bittermilk Manhattan and 4 Parts Rye or Bourbon with lots of ice. Strain into a cocktail glass, and serve up. Garnish with a brandied cherry.
Also pairs well with soda water for a non-alcoholic spin on a Vermouth & Soda.
