40 Colori's Beanies are crafted using the softest merino wool yarn sourced from one of the top local suppliers in Biella. The distinct fisherman style sits just above the ears making for a stylish yet functional beanie. The merino wool used for these beanies makes them very warm but not itchy as the threads are extremely soft to the touch. This style of beanie is one of their very first designs and has been their best seller since creating 40 Colori.
They source their merino wool yarn from Zegna Baruffa, one of the leading spinners in Biella, Italy's wool capital. They use Cashwool, their signature yarn. Soft, warm and durable; this yarn is made with extra-fine merino wool fibers measuring less than 19.5 micron sourced from responsibly selected Australian flocks. The raw fibers are then dyed and worsted spun entirely in Zegna Baruffa's vertically integrated facility at the foothills of the Alps.
